Hi all,

I could have sworn I've done this before!!! Huh

I'm Ann Walker and I'm a member of the Lincoln group. I've been promising myself to get over to Donny and I will do it!

I'm a qualified conservator/restorer and own Unicorn Conservation and Restoration Studios. I restore just about anything, old and valuable or not. If it's precious to you then it IS worth restoring

Just to give an idea of the areas I can cover -

Stained glass - both restoration and designed/made from scratch
Gold leaf gilding
Ceramics and glass
Textiles
Chair re-seating  - including caning
Wood of all types - including re-polishing
Ivory and bone
Stone, alabaster and plaster
Metals including spelter
Some painting restoration
Internal architectural restoration - decorated surfaces, decorative plasterwork and particularly church-work

Basically, if you have something needing restoration, just ask cos I probably do it!!

I also teach a wide variety of craft worksops and courses, and can provide personalised vouchers if you'd like to give one as a gift.

Workshops include -

Gilding
Stained glass
Many textile and thread skills (lace making, spinning, weaving, embroidery)
Precious Metal Clay - amazing clay from Japan which is as easy to model as plasticine and fires to PURE SILVER - magic stuff!!
Lots of different jewellery-making workshops.
Chair re-seating

and more.

Again, if there's something you want to do that isn't on the list, do ask.

Many thanks for wading through this!

Kind regards all,
Ann
